BPED-4
Capiz State University (CAPSU)
Roxas City - Main Campus

About Me
I am Joane Miles A. Veedor. I lived in Basiao, Ivisan, Capiz, Philippines. I am a 4th-year college student at Capiz State University—Main Campus, Roxas City, majoring in physical education. I am delighted as one of the participants in the 10th batch of the Pre-Service Student Teacher Exchange (SEA-Teacher Project). I have undergone an international internship and cultural visits at Yogyakarta, Indonesia. I was assigned to the partner university of CapSu—the Universitas Mercu Buana Yogyakarta, Indonesia. I started my journey on January 23, 2025, and it lasted until February 19, 2025. Together with me were the students of Capiz State University Satellite Campuses, including Keneth B. Rone, a science major from CapSu Pontevedra. John Patrick S. Ledesma, an English major from CapSu Burias, and Sharmain P. Genova, a primary education student from CapSu Dumarao. I was assigned to teach at the partner school of Universitas Mercu Buana—the Kesatuan Bangsa Bilingual Boarding School, which is the sister school of Mercu Buana. This programme is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for me to develop my horizons and improve my teaching skills as a student and in the future. I am honoured to discover and contribute to the diverse educational landscape of Indonesia. In a 28-day stay, we were given a lot of opportunities to explore the different cultures of Indonesia, especially in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. We learned their different teaching styles, methods, and paedagogies, which will significantly contribute to our growth.
